SERVICES: 

I have extensive experience assisting individuals with relationship issues; work/career issues; family/family of origin issues; motivation; self-esteem and confidence; identity issues; and identifying, defining, pursuing, and navigating life transitions. 

I offer consulting, coaching, and mentoring services to anyone seeking, and committed to, identifying and resolving personal issues/personal conflicts that are standing in the way of a fully satisfying and fulfilling life. My services are available to clients around the world.

Although I have retained my standing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), in 2023 I left the field of mental health counseling to create my long dreamed of work as a personal development consultant. Thus, my Personal Development Consulting services do not fall under the umbrella of mental health services. 

Specifically, as a Personal Development Consultant, I do not diagnose clinical mental health issues and I do not facilitate clinical mental health interventions. However, I am professionally competent to work with and welcome clients with clinical challenges who are collaborating with a professional clinician (M.D., Psychologist, and/or Psychiatrist) to treat, stabilize and track their clinical issues per se. Under these circumstances, I am interested in providing personal development consulting with respect and understanding for the challenges and impact clinical issues bring to the achievement of life goals.

ABOUT ME:

Education: I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communications (interpersonal communications and public speaking), a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology (cross-cultural), and a Master of Arts Degree in Applied Behavioral Science. 

Professional Expertise: I began a mental health counseling internship in 1988 and hold a state registration as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). 

Simultaneously over the years, I have worked as a software applications expert in private and public corporate businesses as a consultant, trainer, and production specialist. I retired from this field in 2019.

As a result of my dual career, my in-depth insight and expertise derive from both my work in the mental health field as well as my immersion as an employee and consultant in the corporate world. 

An Assurance: My work with you will be respectful, sensitive, and compassionate. I will tailor our dialogue and process plans to meet your unique, specific needs/goals.   

I provide Consulting services to Individuals age 21 to Senior.  

I do not provide Consulting Services to Families, Teens, or Children. 

Whether your personal development issues stem from a current circumstance or have been generated throughout your lifetime, resolution and positive change will be the focus of my Consulting work with you. Along the way, you will unpack what isn't working in your life and discover or rediscover your inner Clarity, Courage, Imagination, Independence, Strength, Resilience, Tenacity, Hope, and Confidence.  

Coaching is an integral part of my Consulting practice. The coaching aspect of my work encourages and supports your commitment and efforts, acknowledges and praises your progress, and guides you through self-examination for the purpose of distinguishing and resolving internal versus external challenges. If you have resolved your presenting issues, you may still seek ongoing coaching to encourage you and keep you on track.  

Mentoring is also an integral part of my Consulting practice. Acting as a role model/mentor ("been there, done that"), with the intention of encouraging and motivating positive change, I will at times appropriately self-disclose aspects of my life experience, or share examples from history or literature to "normalize" your experience. You are not alone in your experience. And you are not uniquely stuck in circumstances that seem irreparable or unresolvable. You are "normal" within the context of your own life, with the same potential as anyone else for positive change and a bright, joyful life. And that's good news.
