Although you are not obligated to book a minimum number of sessions (you can book a session anytime you are so inclined), since the days and times are open to all clients to choose as they wish, if there is a specific day of the week/time you prefer, it would be a good idea to schedule that day/time in advance for a month or two if you believe you will be continuing personal consultation over that period of time. Otherwise, your choice of day/time may be overridden any given week by another client. If you are taking time off for a vacation or to attend to personal matters, book continuing sessions in advance starting after your return, since while you are away, your preferred day/time will be open to other clients.
Keep in mind that you will not be paying in advance for any session. You can always cancel a session when you are not available or cancel all future sessions when you decide not to pursue further consultation for whatever reason. You may, of course, choose to share your reason with me, but if you choose not to, I will not be following up with you to find out your reason. I will respect that your decision is private.
I conduct my professional practice with professional trust and respect and assume that you will participate in the consulting process with mutual trust and respect. That said, life happens. I will never inquire about your choice to cancel a session because I respect that you must make necessary personal decisions. However, if your cancellations become frequent, I may discuss whether you are prepared and available to make a commitment to consultation at this time.
